This End User Licence Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal contract between you ("you", "your", or "the user") and PPM Insights Pty Ltd ("PPM Insights", "we", "us", or "our"), publisher of the Independent Seniors range of books authored by Ed Chivers.

 

By purchasing, downloading, accessing, or using any Independent Seniors books, digital content, or our website (together, the “Products and Services”), you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use our Products and Services.

 

1. Ownership & Intellectual Property

1.1 All rights in the Independent Seniors books and related content are owned by Ed Chivers (copyright holder) and/or licensed to PPM Insights Pty Ltd as publisher.
1.2 The content is protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
1.3 You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the content solely for your private, non-commercial purposes.

 

2. Permitted Use

2.1 You may read, download and use the books for your personal education and information.
2.2 You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute the books or content in whole or in part.

• Resell, sublicense, or exploit the content commercially.

• Share or upload the content on platforms, websites, or services without written permission.

• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works without consent.

 

3. Disclaimers

3.1 The Independent Seniors books and website are provided for educational and informational purposes only.
3.2 We are not qualified technical, health, medical, financial or legal experts. Nothing in the books or on the website should be construed as professional advice.
3.3 While reasonable efforts are made to ensure accuracy, completeness, and currency, we do not guarantee that the content is error-free, reliable, or suitable for every individual’s situation.
3.4 You agree that use of the books and website is at your own risk.

 

4. Limitation of Liability

4.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, PPM Insights Pty Ltd, Ed Chivers, and affiliates expressly disclaim any and all liability for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use or misuse of our Products and Services.
4.2 Nothing in this Agreement excludes liability where it cannot be lawfully excluded, such as under Australian Consumer Law.

 

5. Website Use & Accounts

5.1 If you create an account on our website, you must keep your login details secure and are responsible for all activities under your account.
5.2 We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms.
5.3 External links provided on our website are for convenience only and we are not responsible for third-party content.

 

6. Privacy

6.1 Your privacy is important to us. We will handle any personal information provided in accordance with applicable privacy law and our Privacy Policy (available on our website).
6.2 By using the website or contacting us, you consent to our collection and use of your personal information for the purposes of fulfilling your requests, sending updates, and providing customer support.

 

7. Termination

7.1 This licence remains in effect until terminated.
7.2 We may terminate this Agreement immediately if you breach its terms. Upon termination, you must cease using and, where applicable, delete all licensed materials.

 

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

8.1 This Agreement is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
8.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia.
8.3 Users outside Australia are responsible for compliance with local laws in their jurisdiction.

 

9. Amendments

We may update or revise this Agreement from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on our website. Continued use of our Products and Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
